About the role

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Diller Teen Fellows Program Manager to oversee the Boston cohort of the Diller Teen Fellows program. This role involves overseeing the full program lifecycle, managing participants, budget, and community partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Diller Teen Fellows – Program Leadership & Management
    • Own the full program lifecycle for the Boston cohort, including strategic planning, curriculum development, logistics, and quality assurance.
    • Lead and mentor 20 program participants, 2 Junior Counselors, and 1 Program Intern/Assistant.
    • Manage the annual recruitment, interview, and selection process.
    • Manage the program budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and accurate financial reporting.
    • Serve as the primary liaison to the Israeli partner coordinator.
    • Cultivate ongoing relationships with program families and alumni.
    • Maintain regular communication with parents of participating teens and local alumni.
  • Teen Department – Program Support
    • Oversee the design and execution of department initiatives including community service days, social programming, and special workshops.
    • Apply data, participant feedback, and community insight to continuously improve program design and outcomes.
  • Community Partnerships & External Relations
    • Build and sustain strategic partnerships with schools, synagogues, and communal organizations.
    • Represent the Teen Department at community events, panels, and professional forums.
  • Organizational Leadership & Staff Standards
    • Model inclusive, values-driven leadership that reflects JCC Greater Boston’s mission, vision, and commitment to a welcoming environment.
    • Attend JCCGB meetings and trainings as assigned.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Directly supervise the Diller Teen Fellows Intern/Assistant.
    • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular supervisory meetings.
    • Manage staff scheduling, time and attendance, and ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting.
    • Identify individual growth areas; establish and monitor annual development goals.
    • Uphold organizational policies and align the work of direct reports with the JCC’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
    • Foster a positive, accountable team environment that supports both individual success and departmental outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
    • 3–5 years of progressive experience in experiential education, program management, and/or group facilitation, with demonstrated growth in scope of responsibility.
    • 3–5 years of experience designing and leading programming focused on Jewish identity development, youth leadership, community service, or Israel education.
    • Proven ability to build authentic relationships with Jewish teens and deliver programs that integrate Jewish values into compelling, joyful educational experiences.
    • Demonstrated understanding of Israeli culture and history; intermediate-level familiarity with Israeli history, politics, and geography strongly preferred.
    • Exceptional project management skills—from concept through execution—with strong attention to detail, deadline management, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a demonstrated track record of collaborative partnerships across diverse stakeholders.
    • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and administrative systems with a high degree of organization and accountability.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and social media platforms.
    • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed; willingness to travel to Israel in the summer and to conferences/trainings throughout the year.

    Benefits

    The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a supportive work environment with a hybrid work option for some administrative duties, and a competitive starting salary range of $55,000 - 58,000 K annually.
