About the role

Digs is a premium dog care company offering services such as DayPlay, Overnight Stays, Grooming, and Training across multiple locations nationwide. We believe every pup deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home, and every team member plays a crucial role in achieving this.

Responsibilities

• Learn about dog behavior
• Supervise dog play groups
• Ensure dog safety
• Work in a dog park environment
• Stay on feet for 6 hours shifts
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Work outside in all seasons

Qualifications

• Efficient time management
• Passionate about dogs and enjoy high level of interaction
• Positive, upbeat, and physically energetic
• Calm, comfortable, and patient with all animals
• Interest in learning canine body language
• Observant to details, especially cleanliness, health, and behavioral needs of pets
• Highly dependable attendance rate
• Able to initiate tasks and complete independently
• Adaptable personality
• Open-minded to changes to routines
• Problem-solver with excellent judgment
• Cooperative and communicative with co-workers
• Able to remember and follow verbal/written directions
• Team-oriented and positive mindset

Schedule

Shifts available: 6:30am - 2:00pm, 10:00am - 6:00pm, and 2:00pm - 7:30pm. Weekend availability is preferred.

• Orientation and training classes covering company policies, procedures, dog body language, and behavior
