Child Care Attendant

Essential Functions

• Greets patrons and children.
• Responsible for registering children.
• Informs parents of rules and regulations.
• Play with children.
• Makes sure surrounding area is clean and safe for children.
• Cleaning list for shift.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Ability to apply the qualities of tact; poise and friendliness;
• To work with others;
• To concentrate against distractions;
• To remember a variety of items in detail;
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or currently enrolled and expected to graduate within the year. Additional child care courses helpful.
• Six months’ child care experience.
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Must be flexible.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
