Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains SharePoint sites, applications, and workflows
- Utilizes low-code/no-code platforms, such as Radzen Blazor and Visual Studio, to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications that meet project requirements.
- Works with business/systems analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine application requirements.
- Customizes and extends existing applications using low-code techniques.
- Develops reports and dashboards utilizing Power BI and/or SQL Reporting Services.
- Leverages Azure Web and App Services to host and deploy applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Utilizes Azure SQL for database design, development, and management, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Supports system operations and services as related Microsoft 365 applications and integrated digital workplace applications.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and product owners, to ensure seamless application development and deployment.
- Communicates technical concepts and ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to low-code/no-code development.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves Microsoft 365 and digital workplace system problems.
- Trains and supports business users.
- Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation for applications, processes, and configurations.
- Ensures documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
- Researches and resolves access issues; initiates support request with Microsoft Support to resolve product related digital workplace issues.
- Performs relevant usage, sharing, and compliance auditing and reporting.
- Plans, directs, and executes system and application design and usage changes.
- Interacts with software and/or professional services vendors.
- Collaborates with the Application Development Team to identify opportunities for digital workplace optimization.
- Performs other related technology duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree, three (3) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing with, and administering SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive.
- Highly skilled in analytical and problem solving; good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies quickly; ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public.
- Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance.
- Must clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test.
- Required to be on call 24 hours.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours during the work week.
- May be required to work weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using Azure Web and App Services, Azure SQL, and other Azure services.
- Proven experience in low-code/no-code development.
- Familiarity with Radzen Blazor Studio or other RAD tools for Azure.
- Proficiency in using Azure Web and App Services, Azure SQL, and other Azure services.
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
- Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate experience.
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework.
