About the role

The Information Technology Platform Administrator II supports critical business operations by managing, improving, and maintaining enterprise technology platforms. This role serves as a technical bridge between IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to system configuration, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams in a structured environment focused on innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Support assigned platforms, improving system performance, and acting as a key technical resource for business technology initiatives.
  • Independently perform system configuration and administration activities for assigned IT platforms.
  • Support application ownership by contributing to system stability, functionality improvements, growth planning, and ongoing optimization.
  • Maintain and improve documentation related to solution delivery applications, processes, and system changes.
  • Recommend and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and process improvements.
  • Partner with vendors and stakeholders to address platform support needs and technical challenges.
  • Provide technical expertise during project requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate testing and validation efforts for system changes and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and support timely resolution of technical problems.
  • Document modifications, incidents, changes, requests, and work activities to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Monitor applications and systems, track performance trends, and recommend improvements to platforms, reporting, and processes.
  • Collaborate with architecture teams, other IT functions, and external partners to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support scheduled reporting, maintenance activities, and operational tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Experienced IT professional with a strong understanding of enterprise systems, technical troubleshooting, and business technology processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of related IT experience supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or technology solutions.
  • Intermediate understanding of IT systems, platforms, integrations, and data flows.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting, documenting issues, and supporting production or project-related environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating activities with vendors, colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Able to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to technology optimization initiatives.
  • Ability to provide occasional evening, night, or weekend coverage when required.
  • Healthcare and/or Medicare industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing stakeholder communications and supporting complex business environments is preferred.
