Digital Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit news and public affairs video for web – YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and other social platforms;
• Manage media storage and organization of footage and finished projects;
• Oversight and adherence to quality control: audio, color correction, and other relevant video specs;
• Management of multiple edits and ensuring on-time delivery;
• Delivery of all video content to channel managers;

Requirements

• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including experience working as a video editor on YouTube- and social-first news programs or journalism sites;
• Proficiency with editing digital video and Adobe Suite;
• Ability to adapt videos for various social media platforms;
• Proficiency with media management tools and software;
• Technical proficiency in remote content delivery;
• Animation skills preferred.

Benefits

Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $74,000.00. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
