About the role
KUSA KTVD-TV, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Denver, is seeking a full-time Morning Video Editor.
Responsibilities
- Create captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms.
- Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories.
- Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists and the digital team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Knowledge of non-linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop
- An interest in broadcast and digital news content
- Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules
- Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends
Pay
$21 - $25 USD
