Digital Transformation Specialist
Qualifications
Required:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information technology, digital media, design, user experience, communications, business, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience supporting digital tools, digital content, user experience, or technology-related initiatives.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
Preferred:
- Certification in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, UX/UI design tools, or motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, After Effects).
Major Duties/Essential Functions
Supports the planning and implementation of digital transformation initiatives by contributing to user-centered design, digital experience, and content activities under direction.
Works with team members and stakeholders to help document and organize business and user needs related to digital tools, systems, and services.
Affords assistance in reviewing existing digital environments, workflows, and user experiences to support identification of improvement and adoption opportunities.
Affords assistance in creating and producing digital assets and experiences using established guidelines, templates, and direction.
Applies accessibility, usability, and established digital design standards, templates, and visual guidelines to assigned digital assets and experiences.
Supports execution of project tasks by tracking and completing assigned deliverables related to digital experience and design components.
Collaborates with developers, analysts, instructional designers, and project teams to support alignment of digital experience and content with technical and instructional objectives.
Affords assistance in testing, validation, and refinement of digital tools, content, and experiences before and after implementation.
Affords assistance in preparing visual, multimedia, and user-facing resources that support training and adoption efforts, under direction.
Collects and summarizes user feedback related to digital experiences to support team evaluation and improvement efforts.
Affords assistance in monitoring and documenting emerging trends, tools, and practices related to digital experience, accessibility, and design.
Prepares documentation, materials, summaries, and supporting input related to assigned digital experience and design activities.
Affords assistance in data collection and basic reporting related to digital experience effectiveness, usage, and adoption, as assigned.
Participates in meetings, working groups, and collaborative efforts related to digital transformation initiatives and projects.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
