Digital Transformation Leader, IS/IT (Accelerated Development Program)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Digital Transformation Leader to steer strategic digital initiatives at Michelin in North America. This person will work closely with the Senior Delivery Managers for the IT/IS platform and collaborate directly with the Senior VP of IT/IS for the North American Region.
What You Will Do
- Leader for Digital Transformation
Steers with the business leaders the digital transformation within their scope.
Brings energy and expertise to focus on the key desired outcomes and improve impact.
Assesses the entity’s level of digital maturity and facilitates teams in building recommendations and action plans (e.g., governance, organization, processes, operating methods…).
Manages and delivers the associated Roadmap.
Identifies and recommends the appropriate tools and methods to meet team needs, involving domain experts as required (digital tools, collaboration tools, methodologies, training…). - Network Facilitation
Animates the network of “Digital, Data and Analytics leaders/ transformers/ champions” (business experts who lead their communities) and/or project managers/teams within their scope, highlighting standard processes (internal and external) and successes.
Promotes actively continuous learning of the teams
Contributes to the facilitation of a global network of Digital Transformers.
Performs benchmarking of other companies regarding innovative digital practices and uses to inspire IS/IT department and the business
Leads the AI Council for MNA: manages the backlogs, manages prioritization based on the value with the business
Measures and manages Adoption, Usage, Value created - Delivery leader
Accountable to deliver the Digital, Data and AI products for the perimeter
Sourcing to the right IS/IT teams to deliver
Leads operational support activities
Coaches operational teams in achieving results in a spirit of continuous improvement of practices - Training and Communication
Supports teams in adopting and developing skills for these new ways of working.
Works with Managers, SP, L&D to identify the training needs and develops the offers to fill the gaps (Digital, Data and AI)
Collaborates with the Business Communication Partner to develop the communication plan for targeted populations.
Ensures managerial engagement and sponsorship.
Handles partner concerns and resolution
Identifies competency needs and associated training requirements.
Ensures training plans are delivered
What You Will Bring
- BS degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering. An MBA is preferred.
- At minimum of 7 yrs overall experience in the IT field with a history of progressive leadership experiences
- Positive track record in leading multi-functional teams and handling large-scale projects
- Solid background in custom software development and cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS a must)
- Expertise in system integration, data management, and business intelligence tools
- Superb communication skills with various levels of the organization, including C-Suite
- Comprehensive application of Agile methodology
- Be geographically mobile for international assignments within Group Michelin
