Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients, managing multiple SC Technology projects including building Supply Chain Digital Platforms, data products, and IT processes.
- Understand and address specific business challenges of supply chain clients through thought leadership.
- Proactively bring ZS expertise to the client(s).
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to develop pricing estimates, plan capacity, and coordinate the delivery of end-to-end technology solutions in the supply chain domain (including BI Reporting, Analytics, AI, Digital, Big Data, Cloud, MDM).
- Ensure project status is reported accurately and act as an escalation point for clients.
- Ensure technical designs are robust and scalable solutions consistent with ZS and industry practices, leveraging existing assets while balancing architecture requirements with specific client needs.
- Provide project leadership and direction on one or more supply chain projects, maintaining a high-quality level of service.
- Develop and manage client relationships on projects.
- As a technology leader, introduce new ideas around technology trends and continuous improvement capabilities to our supply chain clients.
- Identify and drive opportunities for selling additional work to clients.
- Update senior leaders, and prepare and present compelling and creative client presentations.
- Identify the latest technology and domain trends to develop ZS POV and drive innovative solutions for our supply chain clients.
- Serve as the single point of contact and advisor for clients to facilitate their supply chain business needs and program demands through solutions and services.
- Coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and strategic imperatives to inform key project decisions.
- Collaborate with other ZS internal expertise teams - Architects, Validation/Testing, etc., to ensure best-in-class technology solutions for supply chain projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, MIS, IT, or another related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on IT services or consulting industry experience leading medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements, with a minimum of 5 years leading large delivery teams in the supply chain domain.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple supply chain projects simultaneously.
- Experience in leading and building POV on new technology or problem-solving innovations to build firm intellectual capital.
- Extensive experience in cloud & supply chain management technologies such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Experience with supply chain planning tools like Kinaxis, Anaplan, Aera, OMP, or similar.
- Significant supervisory, coaching, and hands-on project management skills.
- Ability to manage a virtual global team environment contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
