About the role

Prime Video is a premium streaming service offering customers a vast collection of TV shows, movies, Originals, Exclusive content, and live sports events like Thursday Night Football, plus 24/7 broadcasts of traditional television stations across 240+ countries and territories. The Linear Operations team enables seamless delivery of 24/7 television channels and pop-up stations through end-to-end channel lifecycle management, metadata orchestration, and quality assurance, supporting 20+ global marketplaces.

You will help define and execute programs to bring new linear channels to Prime Video, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience through accurate, timely project delivery and metadata quality support. The role involves tactical execution while learning to think strategically — analyzing operational data to support team goals, making trade-offs between time, quality, and resources. You might collaborate with engineering on feature recommendations, work with digital provider representatives to resolve content delivery issues, or create dashboards tracking progress against objectives.

The Linear Operations team manages end-to-end channel lifecycle operations, from station onboarding through steady-state monitoring and optimization. We work at the intersection of operations, technology, and business strategy, partnering with engineering, product, content acquisition, and external providers to deliver seamless 24/7 streaming experiences globally. We prioritize building a diverse team where all voices rally around the customer to deliver delightful experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, merchandising, operations, program teams, and external stakeholders to deliver and maintain linear channels on Prime Video across global marketplaces
  • Own the end-to-end channel lifecycle change pipeline, independently managing all production changes from intake through execution and post-change validation with minimal guidance
  • Drive metadata quality and partner escalation workflows, ensuring resolution within SLA targets and maintaining data completeness standards across all active stations
  • Establish goals, plans, and related metrics for program workstreams; track progress, identify risks, and operate through obstacles to achieve program objectives
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual operational burden and scale workflows efficiently
  • Oversee a cross-functional team of associates executing operational workflows, owning capacity planning, training, standard operating procedure governance, and quality standards
  • Create and maintain reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics to illustrate progress against goals, support business reviews, and communicate status to leadership on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational change requests, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to drive timely, high-quality execution

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing operational workflows at scale with measurable SLAs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment
  • Experience working in media, streaming, or content operations
  • Experience with ticketing systems and change management processes
  • Familiarity with metadata management, EPG systems, or broadcast operations
