About The Job

We are seeking a Digital Specialist to implement technology tools utilized by our Field Teams. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for addressing technical issues, providing solutions, managing assets, implementation and ensuring effective communication across teams.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper usage of Technology Tools to capture required data and resolve technical support issues reported by the field teams.
  • Monitor and ensure proper usage of the Technology tools to accurately capture the required field data.
  • Track, manage, and resolve technical issues submitted by field teams through support tickets in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Responsible for all the Technology items related to the Reality Capture Program including but not limited to Drone Deploy, Openspace, and Argyle.
  • Accountable to ensure all technology assets are fully functional and each OSC jobsite is equipped with the necessary digital tools.
  • Oversee the tracking, procurement, and deployment/installation of all RCP-related technology assets.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Teams and Technical Leads to ensure RCP data is actively reviewed and utilized for project insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT team to ensure compatibility with future RCP-related technology assets with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Review data produced by all technology asset tools—including but not limited to Drone Map Plans, OpenSpace field notes, and Argyle Observations—to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas requiring follow-up.
  • Accountable for overseeing and managing the Offshore Team responsible for reviewing and validating all data generated by technology assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the VDC team on acquiring accurate and up-to-date drawings for the technology tools in a timely manner. (e.g., Drone Deploy, Argyle).
  • Manage the Site Surveying/Printing Technology Tools (IE: Dusty, Emlid, Total Station).
  • Accountable to ensure all technology assets are fully functional and each OSC jobsite is equipped with the necessary digital tools.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Lead and Field Teams to develop clear timelines and effective plans for site surveying and on-site printing.
  • Coordinate with JPI Trades to plan and execute the use of Technology tools (e.g., Dusty) before framing starts.
  • Coordinate with the VDC team on acquiring accurate and up-to-date drawings for the technology tools in a timely manner. (e.g., Dusty, Total Station).

Expectations

  • Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles.
  • 5 days (Monday-Friday)
  • Physical Co-location and OSC Jobsites as-needed
  • Daily Collaboration
  • Thorough knowledge of daily on-site activities in conjunction with the Technology Tools
  • Management of all Technology Tools across the OSC projects

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in a business or professional setting (inclusive of non-profit or government roles)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in using business software and Technology tools, including Drone Deploy and Bluebeam
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Required to Get a Part 107 and Any Other License Needed for Technology Items
