American Express National Bank is American Express’ U.S. banking operation, representing more than 60% of the company’s revenues through consistent payments, financing, and savings products. The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) establishes the Enterprise Change Management and Project Risk and Controls strategy, ensuring risks associated with Change Management—including projects—are identified, assessed, and managed in compliance with governance policies. The EPMO also supports the execution of select enterprise initiatives that cross multiple lines of business.

About the role

The Enterprise Program Management Office is seeking a Digital Solutions Analyst to manage governance-related tools, provide development support, and ensure integration of these tools into enterprise project management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Power Apps solutions to meet business and project management needs.
  • Coordinate technical improvements, including the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to support the design and enhancement of Power Platform applications.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with users or other technical teams to resolve defects and service requests.
  • Partner closely with other technical teams to ensure smooth transitions to enterprise solutions while meeting governance and project management requirements.
  • Anticipate needs and exercise a proactive bias toward action.
  • Support the implementation of AI use cases.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, data analytics, regulatory governance, risk management, or related fields.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and data and reporting analytics.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior business and technical counterparts.
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States (visa sponsorship will not be provided).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience within the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of process governance and building/operating in an end-to-end, standardized program.
  • Experience with advanced Power Platform concepts (e.g., custom connectors, PCF controls, Power Pages).
