Digital Services Integrated Data and Analytics Internship Summer 2027

About the role

An intern within Integrated Data Analytics would provide valuable support to the team while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in healthcare data and analytics. With the team supporting Finance and Actuarial business areas, there are opportunities for an intern to contribute to defined projects involving data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement.

Primary location: 1226 Cedar St NE, Grand Rapids (hybrid, with options near the West (Grand Rapids), East (Southfield), and South (St. Joseph) regions).

The internship runs for 14 weeks during either May 3 – August 13, 2027 or May 10 – August 20, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Review existing actuarial/finance reports to understand how they are used, identify opportunities for improvement, and help design enhanced reporting solutions.
• Work with team members and business partners to document requirements, validate results, and ensure reports provide meaningful information for decision‑making.
