Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reviewing security alerts
• Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations
• Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports
• Helping test security processes
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions
• Creating dashboards and metrics
• Supporting automation and process improvement efforts
• Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives

Requirements

Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions: West (Grand Rapids), East (Southfield), South (St. Joseph). This is a 14‑week hybrid summer internship requiring full‑time commitment (40 hours/week) during one of the following periods: May 3 – August 13, 2027 or May 10 – August 20, 2027.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability
• May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program
