Digital Services Information Security Internship Summer 2027
About the role
Performs support tasks for department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and reviewing security alerts
- Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations
- Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports
- Helping test security processes
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions
- Creating dashboards and metrics
- Supporting automation and process improvement efforts
- Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Schedule
Full Time (40 Hours/week), 14-week Hybrid Summer Internship occurring during one of the following time frames: May 3 - August 13, 2027 or May 10 - August 20, 2027. Weekly scheduled hours: 40 hours of work, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
