Digital Senior Director - Finance Transformation, Financial Services

Location: Chicago, IL – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $215,000 – $275,000 annually

About the role

This role will support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead business-process discovery across the FS value chain with senior client stakeholders
• Translate process understanding into compelling, platform-agnostic solutions
• Design comprehensive architectures connecting transformed processes to applications and data layers
• Position business-process transformation as the entry point into broader enterprise initiatives
• Manage qualified pipeline and revenue, including developing proposals and leading presentations
• Develop repeatable transformation offerings across FS value-chain domains
• Serve as delivery principal during execution, ensuring continuity and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, or related field; advanced degree, CPA, or CMA preferred
• 10+ years leading business-process and technology transformation in Financial Services or enterprise applications, OR 10+ years in the Financial Services industry across various domains
• Deep fluency in business processes: ability to diagnose current-state processes and quantify outcomes across the FS value chain
• Experience with solution architecture connecting processes to the correct applications and compliance layers
• Proven track record in pre-sales, solution discovery, and leading final presentations
• Demonstrated P&L ownership or revenue growth in a client-facing role
• Experience managing C-suite relationships and advisory experiences
