About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Digital Publisher to help build our digital publishing program. You will both ideate and execute at a granular level.

Responsibilities

• Further develop our website and Substack programs
• Build our email/newsletter program
• Potentially contribute to other business aspects, including:
  • Instagram and other social media
  • Ad sales, sponsorships, collaborations, and partnerships
  • Third-party print distribution
  • Paid ads
• Manage operations and analysis
• Onboard, coordinate, and work with freelancers and other contributors

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital publishing, magazines, or content
• Demonstrated success building an audience
• Interest in and knowledge of the indie literary and magazine businesses
• You push boundaries and take creative risks with your ideas
• Scrappy, hands-on, and hardworking
• Ability to perform analysis and do math
• Looking for an in-office job

Pay

Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000
