About the role

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmaps for digital products and platforms. This role involves balancing client needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility while managing the product throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmaps for digital products or platforms.
  • Lead product discovery activities by gathering and analyzing client feedback, market research, and business requirements.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing dependencies.
  • Partner with technology, UX, operations, risk, legal, and compliance to define product requirements and ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as Product Manager throughout the Agile development lifecycle, participating in sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and release planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through complex product implementations, system integrations, and platform modernizations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate product, operational, regulatory, and compliance risks.
  • Analyze product performance using key metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive modernization initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and automation opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, presentations, and executive communications to support investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, or related experience delivering digital products, platforms, or client-facing technology solutions. Experience should include managing product roadmaps and backlogs within Agile or Scrum environments, and leading cross-functional initiatives. Experience managing products within highly regulated industries such as banking or financial services is necessary.
  • Skills: Candidates must have experience writing detailed features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and release management is required. The role also requires strong communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting money movement products such as ACH, Wires, RTP, FedNow, Bill Pay, or Zelle.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations, risk management practices, audit requirements, and payment operations.
  • Experience with digital banking platforms, client onboarding, payment modernization, or real-time payment capabilities.
