About the role
The Digital Producer will support HRF’s digital storytelling and content operations, working closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to translate strategic priorities into structured, actionable digital plans. This role focuses on managing the digital content calendar, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring smooth execution of campaigns across social media, email, and web channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day digital execution for HRF and Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) digital channels, ensuring campaigns are planned, coordinated, and delivered on time across social media, email, and web.
- Own and manage the HRF and OFF digital content calendar, aligning campaign timelines with program milestones, speaker announcements, and key moments.
- Coordinate with OFF program teams to gather inputs on speakers, sessions, and initiatives, and translate them into structured digital plans and timelines.
- Support broader HRF digital efforts, ensuring alignment across organizational priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between program teams and creative partners to ensure alignment on messaging, timing, and deliverables.
- Coordinate content production workflows by communicating strategic direction to designers, editors, and other creatives, and ensuring outputs meet campaign objectives.
- Manage internal review and approval processes, including collecting feedback, tracking revisions, and ensuring all content is approved prior to publication.
- Support the execution of multi-channel campaigns by organizing deliverables, tracking dependencies, and ensuring deadlines are met across teams.
- Take lead in distribution of social video, with particular focus on clipping highlights from HRF and partner events.
- Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling reports to support ongoing optimization and learning.
- Manage and update website content using CMS platforms, ensuring pages are accurately built, aligned with brand guidelines, and published on schedule without requiring coding expertise.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s photo archive, ensuring assets are properly cataloged with accurate metadata, easily searchable, and accessible for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with HRF’s brand voice, mission, and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clear, actionable plans.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Experience managing content calendars, workflows, or approval processes is strongly preferred.
- Experience working on events, conferences, or live programming is a plus.
- Experience in nonprofit, media, or advocacy environments is a plus.
- Interest in human rights and HRF’s mission strongly preferred.
Pay
Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
