Digital Printing Specialist and Installer Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and energetic person who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Preflight files for print and make necessary changes to files
• Process files through appropriate RIP workflow to prepare them for printing
• Operate a roll fed-printers to output large format printing
• Set-up, maintain and efficiently operate various digital printing devices and finishing equipment such as cutter/plotter
• Monitor output of finished product for consistency and quality
• Apply color management skills
• Cutting substrates
• Apply vinyl to substrates and vehicles
• Finishing
• Minor graphic design work

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude must be above average
• Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus
• Strong computer skills with PC based platforms
• Must be capable of working in a small team environment
• Requires some heavy lifting of print substrates
• Must be able to speak, read and write English and be able to follow and communicate written and verbal instructions
• Excellent organizational skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Accuracy, consistency and dependability are mandatory

Schedule

• Full Time (We support flex work hours for those with families or going to college)
• Monday – Friday (Saturday or Sunday part time)
• 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Pay

Compensation: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
