Digital Printing Press Operator M-TH (10 hour shift)

About the role

ePac Flexible Packaging is expanding its operations with a new plant in Mesa, Arizona. This role involves operating, calibrating, and maintaining an Indigo HP 20000 press to ensure high-quality prints and supply materials to the lamination department.

Responsibilities

• Regularly calibrates press via color calibration to ensure excellent print quality
• Efficiently sets up machine to maximize uptime
• Confirms job specifications based on job ticket prior to printing
• Performs daily and weekly maintenance on press
• Notifies Lead Press Operator when equipment needs repair or opens service calls
• Loads rolls of material onto press, and monitors print quality while machine is in production
• Keeps pressroom clean and organized

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• 1-3 years in production field related to digital printing a plus
• Basic knowledge of flexible packaging films is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be flexible in work schedule and willing to work overtime based on business needs

• Simple mathematical ability for reports required

• Read a ruler
