About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Performance Creative Manager to join our growing Digital Marketing team. The Performance Creative Manager will work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to bring performance-driven creative campaigns to life across paid digital channels. This role plays a critical part in translating strategic direction into clear briefs, organized testing workflows, and high-quality marketing assets that support business growth. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for creative storytelling, understands how marketing content performs across digital platforms, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, based at Z SUPPLY Headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. Hybrid schedule: in-office 4 days (Mon–Thurs) and remote half-day Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Digital Marketing in executing creative initiatives that drive performance across digital channels.
  • Translate marketing goals, campaign priorities, and product focus into clear and actionable creative briefs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative team to develop assets that align with brand voice, seasonal storytelling, and performance objectives.
  • Ensure marketing assets reflect Z SUPPLY brand standards while supporting business goals.
  • Conduct competitive marketing and creative research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Support cross-channel marketing initiatives by aligning creative across paid media, retention, and brand campaigns.
  • Partner with Influencer and Marketing teams to develop influencer-specific briefs, align go-live timelines, and manage weekly check-ins to ensure content delivery supports campaign and paid needs.
  • Perform operational checks on influencer product selections and timelines, including inventory and WIP validation prior to sample orders, and flag risks or changes to ensure execution readiness.
  • Own paid creative briefs across Meta, TikTok, CTV, affiliate, and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate creative asset development from briefing through delivery and launch readiness.
  • Manage creative revisions and iterations based on performance feedback and campaign learnings.
  • Ensure assets meet platform specifications and marketing objectives prior to deployment.
  • Maintain organized documentation of creative assets, campaign variations, and testing cycles.
  • Support implementation of creative testing plans across performance channels.
  • Monitor and track creative performance metrics including CTR, CPA, ROAS, engagement, and conversion trends.
  • Compile performance insights and prepare monthly and quarterly creative hindsight summaries to support optimization decisions.
  • Maintain documentation of test results and creative learnings to support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Paid Media Channel Managers to align creative with campaign timelines, ensuring all briefs and handoffs are delivered upstream to allow adequate lead time for high-quality creative.
  • Collaborate with Digital Operations to ensure asset readiness and coordinated campaign launches.
  • Work with Merchandising and Planning teams to align creative with seasonal product priorities and promotional moments.
  • Communicate clearly across teams to maintain alignment and accountability throughout the creative production process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, creative operations, performance marketing, or related role.
  • Experience working with a fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand required.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and creative performance principles.
  • Experience creating briefs, managing creative workflows, and organizing campaign assets required.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign performance data.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across creative, marketing, and operational teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid office-based role requiring frequent sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires continual use of computers and office equipment, finger and eyesight dexterity, and occasional lifting of items over 10–25 pounds. Work is primarily conducted in an air-conditioned office environment or home office setting with occasional outside weather conditions.

Pay

Position salary range: $80,000 – $95,000 annually. Flexibility outside of the salary range listed may be considered based on additional skills or qualifications a candidate may possess that may justify additional compensation.
