About the Role

Do you have strong analytic skills and a problem-solving mindset? Are you looking for an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders? As a network and access discovery analyst, you will use your specialized technical experience to enable cyberspace operations and intelligence collection to support mission owners. You will provide expert analytic support while working alongside mission owners to tackle complex problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, digital network intelligence, dataflow, access development, and target network analysis. This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise, develop new skills and tradecraft, share methodologies and tool experience with other analysts, and contribute to offensive cyberspace operations critical to national security.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage understanding of ports, protocols, networking devices, and common exploitation frameworks.
  • Assess network vulnerabilities and identify key network topology.
  • Provide expert analytic support for cyberspace operations and intelligence collection.
  • Work alongside mission owners to solve complex problems in network exploitation and digital network intelligence.

Requirements

  • Experience with Computer Network Operations (CNO) processes and capabilities.
  • Ability to leverage processes and tools for signals intelligence discovery analysis.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (required).
  • High School diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis, or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis.

Qualifications

  • Experience with dataflow and signals intelligence architecture (preferred).
  • Experience with programming languages for scripting and automation, including Python or C++ (preferred).
  • Experience with penetration testing tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ports, protocols, and network configurations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IT logging best practices (preferred).
  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS Certification (preferred).

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

  • Remote: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
