About the Role
Responsible for creating original artwork with a visual style, design, and layout that is appropriate to each project’s concepts and goals. Artwork includes layouts, logos, charts, diagrams, brochures, ads, flyers, and packaging designs. Primarily supports the marketing function but may also assist other departments with graphic design needs. Communicates and coordinates corporate marketing programs enhancing the company value proposition. Solves practical problems and delivers solutions that contribute to business growth. Assists in prioritizing projects based on contribution to immediate yet sustainable revenue enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Assists with developing and executing short- and long-range marketing plans and programs to ensure profit growth and add value to stakeholder relationships.
- Assists with establishing marketing goals to support organizational strategic plans and visions.
- Designs all print collateral material, direct mail pieces, digital pieces, one-page flyers, and creation of logos for promotions using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Researches companies that can provide giveaways and other customized items.
- Designs customized wearables, including supplying/adjusting logos and reviewing stitch-outs.
- Works with the Marketing Team to create successful social media campaigns, content plans, and maintain social media trends.
- Provides artwork for additional marketing spin-offs such as spiffs, sales updates on promotions, etc.
- Responds to requests from the sales force for banners, flyers, and signage.
- Assists in various aspects of food shows and business meetings by providing logos, meeting themes, name tags, labels, signage, agenda design, wearables, etc.
- Responds to customers’ requests for creation of menu and logo designs, T-shirts, etc., to create company brand awareness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1-2 years of Marketing or related experience.
Skills
- Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Proficient with PC platform, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SharePoint.
