We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join a healthcare-focused organization in Irvine, California on a contract basis. This position will lead multi-channel marketing efforts by coordinating campaign execution, shaping audience journeys, and turning performance data into actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day planning of content and campaign schedules, keeping marketing activity aligned with key enrollment periods, promotional initiatives, and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the full campaign delivery process, including timeline development, setup, quality checks, launch execution, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Develop target audience segments and structured communication journeys that improve relevance, strengthen engagement, and increase conversion performance.
  • Produce clear dashboards and executive-ready reports that translate campaign results into meaningful insights for leadership and partner teams.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to evaluate marketing data, uncover patterns, and refine messaging and strategy based on performance trends.
  • Work closely with teams across product, content, creative, admissions, and technology to deliver cohesive and effective integrated campaigns.
  • Drive ongoing campaign improvement through experimentation, data review, and optimization informed by audience behavior and response metrics.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success managing editorial calendars and digital campaign operations from initial planning through reporting.
  • Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience interpreting conversion metrics, engagement data, and broader campaign performance indicators.
  • Practical experience using AI-based tools to support marketing analysis, content optimization, or campaign decision-making.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to oversee several initiatives at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with technical, creative, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms is preferred.
  • Background in higher education, enrollment-focused marketing, healthcare, or other mission-driven environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, paid social platforms, email campaign systems, and Google Ads is desirable.
