Digital Marketing Associate

About the role

Wealth Enhancement is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to join our dynamic San Diego, CA team. This is an on-site position located in zip code 92121.

Responsibilities

• Execute paid digital media campaigns and analytics
• Drive organic website traffic using SEO tactics
• Optimize website to increase conversion and improve user engagement
• Prepare regular reporting on digital results
• Provide general marketing support

Requirements

• Four-year degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing or related field
• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, paid and unpaid
• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
• Google Ads certified, or ability to obtain certification
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
• Functional understanding of HTML, CSS and SQL
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills, willingness to dig into issues and present possible creative solutions
• Ability to be flexible and to collaborate as part of a growing, cross-functional team

Qualifications

• Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
• Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Self-motivated and eager to grow beyond the job description

Skills

• Comfort working with data sets, dashboards, and performance metrics
• Exposure to basic automation, APIs, or workflow tools (Zapier, Make, HubSpot workflows, Google Sheets automation, etc.)
• Interest in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, no-code/low-code tools) to write simple scripts, automate workflows, and accelerate analysis and campaign execution
• Interest in experimenting, testing, and iterating
