About the role
A&M is seeking a high-performing Associate or Senior Associate to join our CFO Services – Digital Finance Transformation team. The role involves partnering directly with CFOs, Controllers, and Private Equity sponsors to modernize finance functions, improve reporting transparency, and drive measurable business impact through technology-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and Private Equity sponsors to modernize finance functions
- Improve reporting transparency
- Drive measurable business impact through technology-enabled solutions
- Support PE firms to ensure their portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to execute and deliver financial outcomes
- Collaborate with finance and technology teams to translate between their needs
Requirements
- 4-8 plus years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology / Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
- Consulting or professional services experience required, Big 4 experience preferred
- Experience contributing to ERP implementation efforts within a broader finance transformation or consulting background
- Finance or accounting foundation required (e.g., 13-week cash flow, three-statement modeling, financial statement analysis)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx, and other similar programs
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including forecasting, working capital management, three-statement modeling, accounting advisory, and / or Audit
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to translate between finance and technology teams
Qualifications
- Deep finance and accounting expertise
- Practical experience in ERP systems, analytics, and automation
- Highly skilled in delivering scalable solutions in high-stakes environments
Skills
- ERP systems (NetSuite preferred, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, MS Dynamics 365)
- Power BI, Alteryx, and other similar programs
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Benefits
The salary range is $100,000--$170,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.

Schedule
Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
