About the Role

Cerity Partners is seeking a Digital Enablement and AI Specialist to join our newly formed Digital Workplace team in our Technology organization as a subject matter expert for our productivity and collaboration platform stack. This role sits at the intersection of technology and the people who use it, responsible for translating platform and AI capabilities into practical guidance, structured training programs, and documented best practices to deliver measurable business value to colleagues across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a centralized library of platform how-to-guides, short-form videos, workflow playbooks, prompt libraries, and self-service resources covering the firm’s productivity and collaboration stack: Microsoft 365, Box, Zoom, and Claude, as well as tertiary workflow management tools such as Confluence and Asana.
  • Collaborate with other platform teams (CRM, WM Operations, and others) on cross-functional workflows where the productivity stack intersects with other firm applications.
  • Develop and deliver a structured technology onboarding program for new colleagues, in partnership with Human Capital and IT support.
  • Conduct live training sessions virtually, with minor travel expected for in-person training initiatives.
  • Maintain training content currency with platform feature releases, with particular attention to the pace of AI-related updates across the stack.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives to support new platform rollouts, feature changes, and cross-platform workflow updates.
  • Maintain a centralized AI Hub or resource library.
  • Track training completion and adoption patterns; iterate content based on feedback and observed usage.
  • Serve as a member of the newly formed Digital Workplace team, contributing to the team's platform enablement and AI adoption strategy across the firm.
  • Function as a two-way bridge between business teams and the Technology organization: gathering workflow needs from colleagues and translating them into documented requirements, and translating technical capabilities into business-relevant guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate AI value across the firm, focusing on training content and documentation for AI tools and AI-enhanced workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, security, and applications teams to align enablement with platform capabilities and governance.
  • Facilitate the firm's AI champion network, enabling and sustaining peer-level AI advocates across business functions.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a firm-wide AI use case library—documented, approved, and accessible to all colleagues.
  • Translate AI capabilities into practical, repeatable use cases; convert tool features into real business value rather than abstract potential.
  • Participate in early testing and structured pilots of new productivity and AI tools and features under consideration for enterprise deployment.
  • Partner cross-functionally on platform rollout communications, including colleague-facing announcements, training materials, and change communications for platform changes and new deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Instructional Design, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in application training, digital adoption, technical education, technology support, or a closely related function.
  • Experience in client or customer service, or a user-facing technology role—an understanding of how non-technical colleagues experience and adopt technology is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, accessible documentation, short-form videos, and training materials for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite; working familiarity with Zoom and Box.
  • Demonstrable AI skills/prompt libraries or AI certifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; this role presents, facilitates, and writes for colleagues at all levels of the firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and content areas independently.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where platform features and AI capabilities change frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LMS or DAP.
  • Familiarity with financial services operations, even at a conceptual level.
  • ProSci, PMP, or equivalent change management credential.

Pay

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $120,000

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance – day 1.
  • 401(k) savings and investment plan options with 4% match.
  • Flexible PTO policy.
  • Parental Leave.
  • Financial assistance for advanced education and professional designations.
  • Opportunity to give back time to local communities.
  • Commuter benefits.
