About the role

Budderfly's marketing team is looking for a Digital Marketing and Web Operations Intern to support the technical and operational side of our web and social presence. This role is focused on execution—web performance, social media support, digital advertising operations, and internal communications. The ideal candidate is curious, driven, and open to a longer-term placement. Interest in sustainability and cleantech is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Upload and format new web pages in HubSpot, and make basic backend updates to existing pages (e.g., schema markup)
  • Support SEO tasks including metadata audits, internal linking checks, and redirect cleanup
  • Support day-to-day social media execution, optimizing across channels like LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business Hub, and Meta (assisting graphic creation, backend updates, etc.)
  • Help with internal communication projects like creating office slides, newsletters, planning lunch and learns, etc.
  • Provide general department administrative support when needed
  • General file organization and asset library upkeep

Requirements

  • Full-time college student (Junior, Senior, or a college graduate by the end of Spring 2027)
  • In process of getting a bachelor's in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Stellar organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and handle workload, working across multiple campaigns at any given time
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with keen attention to detail as it pertains across all marketing functions
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects and with internal staff and outside partners/vendors
  • Experience with creating web pages or willingness to learn quickly
  • Proficient in Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental causes
