Key Responsibilities
- Email Hygiene: Review and clean up our Constant Contact distribution lists by identifying and removing bounced email addresses.
- Website Management: Audit our WordPress site to remove user profiles and system access for individuals who have left member companies.
- Job Board Optimization: Search member company websites for active job openings, establish automated alerts, and streamline entries to build a more robust job board.
- Growth & Community Engagement: Lead Generation: Identify and research prospective new members and corporate sponsors to expand our network. Community Collaborations: Search for industry associations to partner with and gather their events to feature on our “Friends of NECA” community gatherings page. Member Outreach: Conduct systematic check-ins with existing members using a structured process to keep them engaged.
- Event Support & Marketing: Day-of-Event Assistance: Support on-site event logistics, capture high-quality event photos, and track key presentation themes. Content Creation: Draft post-conference write-ups and compile summaries of key event takeaways. Social Media: Help create, schedule, and execute social media outreach campaigns.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Open to current undergraduate college students or recent college graduates focused on marketing, communications, business, or environmental/energy studies.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with or ability to learn Constant Contact, Excel and WordPress.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for writing post-event summaries and contacting members.
