About the role
The Digital Associate I operates Digital Presses and finishing equipment safely and accurately, using proprietary and third-party programs to produce quality products according to mPulse Output Solutions (OS) specifications. This role involves handling proprietary and PHI information, requiring strict adherence to security protocols for both digital and hardcopy data.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand PACE job tickets and/or special instructions.
- Perform quality control (QC) inspections on each job based on department guidelines.
- Reference OS reference guide and Digital Manager for correct paper staging.
- Move, load, and unload paper rolls (Teslin) to/from Pressroom and Presses as needed.
- Handle wastepaper rolls (Teslin) by moving them to the compactor machine and emptying paper bag waste.
- Maintain compactor area cleanliness and log compactor pressure.
- Set up and feed material through various machines, observing control points and equipment sensors.
- Clean and vacuum machines, replace toner cartridges and fusers, and calibrate cutter roller adjustments.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet manufacturing goals.
- Assist with light maintenance, cleaning, and general housekeeping tasks, including facility upkeep and waste removal.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of machine operation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating web browsers.
- Basic math and reading skills.

Physical Demands
