Role Overview

The Digital Court Reporter is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video recording equipment during depositions and legal proceedings. They capture accurate testimony, take detailed notes, and log key legal events, including speaker identification and exhibit introductions. The role requires technical proficiency with digital recording systems, audio/video equipment, and troubleshooting issues both in-person and remotely. They must Swear in deponents, maintain a professional demeanor, and adapt to changing environments and schedules. Strong organizational skills, familiarity with legal processes, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Preferred candidates have some legal industry knowledge, relevant education, and experience with A/V technologies. Reliable transportation and professionalism are also required.
