WAVY-TV and WAVY.com are expanding their digital-first local journalism efforts. They are seeking a Digital Content Producer to join their award-winning team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and post relevant content on various social media platforms
• Edit and post video content in a deadline-driven environment
• Ensure accurate and engaging copy
• Utilize research and database skills
• Work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Degree in journalism
• Daily newspaper or news site experience required
• Live, working web samples and/or print pages preferred
• Proficiency in Associated Press style, SEO, and social media strategies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of design for content management systems, usability, and accessibility practices
• Customer focus
