For more information, visit THE.TEAM. We are seeking a Creative Designer to support the visual storytelling of our basketball talent representation division.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, on-brand creative across social, digital, and marketing channels
  • Develop graphics, templates, and visual systems ensuring consistency across THETEAM’s basketball platforms
  • Execute a range of assets including player announcements, gameday content, brand partnerships, and marketing collateral
  • Support motion design and short-form video editing as needed
  • Translate player moments, partnerships, and milestones into visually compelling, social-first creative
  • Collaborate with social, marketing, and talent teams to bring athlete narratives to life
  • Stay informed on basketball culture, trends, and key moments to inform creative direction
  • Balance creativity with clarity to ensure content is engaging and brand-aligned
  • Maintain and evolve THETEAM’s visual identity across all touchpoints
  • Partner closely with internal teams to align creative with strategic and client goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay organized using project management tools and maintain clear communication across teams
  • Continuously explore design trends, tools, and cultural moments to keep creative fresh and relevant

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within an agency, brand, or sports/entertainment environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with motion tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience designing for social platforms, with an understanding of best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution
  • Awareness of cultural trends across sports, music, and entertainment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, and Box

  • Thrives in a collaborative setting

Benefits

Base salary range: $70K-82K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
