Significant Responsibilities

  • Performs varied technical, specialized or difficult clerical work requiring the frequent exercise of initiative, individual judgment and the application of thorough knowledge of department rules and policies.
  • Responds to computer messages sent via electronic mail system and routes messages to appropriate person.
  • Develops and implements social media strategies that align with the hospital’s mission, values and organizational goals.
  • Identifies emerging trends, opportunities, and potential reputational risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Creates content that promotes healthcare services, patient education, employee engagement, recruitment efforts and community health initiatives.
  • Develops graphics and multimedia content to effectively communicate information.
  • Designs and produces visual content that supports organizational goals.
  • Evaluates visual content performance and make improvements based on engagement metrics.
  • Designs marketing materials, digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, flyers, presentations, and other branded communications.
  • Utilizes applicable content creation applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, or similar software.
  • Reviews and modifies internal and external web pages as needed to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Examples Of Experience/Education/Training

  • Three years performing social media content management with focus on organizational promotion, patient and community development, employee recruitment marketing using company branding.
  • Two years performing duties comparable to the class of Office Assistant III with Monterey County which included independent application of procedures and lead worker responsibilities.

Conditions Of Employment

  • Natividad requires that all incumbents pass a pre-employment physical/medical assessment.
  • Natividad will conduct a thorough background and reference check process which includes a Department of Justice fingerprint check.
  • Employees who drive on County business to carry out job related duties must possess a valid Driver License for the class vehicle driven or have the ability to provide suitable transportation that is approved by the appointing authority.
  • Employees must have and show their original Social Security Card and a valid Driver License or State ID prior to the first day of work (Social Security Card is required for payroll purposes only).
  • Incumbents may be required to work all shifts, including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Incumbents may be required to work with potentially hazardous and infectious substances.
