Digital Banker

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, knowledgeable, and professional customer service via telephone and electronic communication, resolving complex issues that may require lengthy calls or emails.
• Protect and maintain confidentiality of customer financial data while handling requests and transactions.
• Respond to incoming calls and emails promptly; troubleshoot and support online banking customers over the phone or remotely using software.
• Maintain strong knowledge of digital channel products (online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, mobile deposit, ACH, debit cards) and process digital banking requests and applications following proper procedures.
• Deliver accurate and efficient servicing, implementation, and technical support for all digital banking products, incorporating risk‑mitigation best practices.
• Detect, research, and resolve potential fraud transactions involving debit cards, ACH, and checks.
• Ensure work processes follow bank procedures; review daily reports and process changes or corrections as needed.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger and bank control accounts accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality production.
• Verify and onboard digital account applications in compliance with regulatory standards (CIP, AML) and bank policies.
• Understand and follow applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Business Ethics, BSA, AML, Information Security, and SAR requirements.
• Follow deposit account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral processes.
• Complete periodic compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• 2+ years of banking experience.
• Experience with banking products, account opening processes, and compliance requirements preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with effective prioritization and attention to detail.
