About the team

The team ensures the reliable operation of the Automated Picking and Delivery system through scheduled preventive maintenance and timely equipment repairs. Utilizing expertise in electrical diagnostics and repairs, members follow safety protocols and collaborate with management and business partners to address maintenance needs. They document activities, support process improvements, and prioritize quality and compliance. Through effective communication and coordination, the team maintains facility performance and operational efficiency, contributing to seamless automated system functionality and the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance following established schedules to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
  • Inspect, clean, and repair equipment or systems, documenting wear and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools, performing major and minor repairs across electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory while adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement maintenance processes that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repair to ensure operational safety and reliability.
  • Strong skills in electrical diagnostics and repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to accurately diagnose and address equipment malfunctions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently.
  • Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills to coordinate with team members and business partners.

Qualifications

  • Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade.
  • Preferred: Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
  • Preferred: License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
  • Preferred: Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
