About the role
The Associate, Digital and Product Marketing focuses on marketing technology, user experience, and business development, supporting VanEck's digital presence across web and email initiatives. This role collaborates with a diverse team including Marketing, Sales, and IT professionals.
Responsibilities
- Align investment and financial knowledge with marketing/business strategies and recommend tactics and best practices
- Work with IT to enhance web and email properties' speed, performance, and user interface
- Develop and implement a responsive marketing tech stack adaptable for future technology
- Collaborate with sales to create lead generation strategies, including improvements to email marketing programs and websites
- Communicate with business units to understand daily deliverables and coordinate tasks, identifying areas for improvement
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that support business goals
- Provide input on project documents for both IT and business users
- Maintain and oversee web and email production focusing on user experience, including content review, proofreading, data accuracy, formatting, and creative recommendations
- Train internal marketing staff on email and web best practices
- Develop and execute email and web programs, including design, functionality, and reporting, collaborating with the Content Strategy team
- Identify, assess, develop, and implement functions and features within marketing software applications and third-party add-ons
- Work with multiple departments, including Sales, Content, and Technology, to enhance marketing software applications and third-party add-ons
- Manage and troubleshoot design, programming, integration, and functional issues
- Organize tasks and contribute to strategic plans regarding site usability, navigation, content management, and new technologies
- Have experience in mutual funds or related financial services, with a focus on email marketing and internet/web marketing
Qualifications
- Four-year college or equivalent education with a degree in Integrated Marketing, Computer Science, English, Economics, or Communications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, specifically mutual funds or ETFs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-departmental team and interact with all levels of staff and clients
- Expertise in marketing software development/production cycle, including knowledge of cross-platform integration, APIs, and hooks
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with changing priorities; self-sufficient while being detail-oriented and motivated to excel
- Well-organized with strong analytic and problem-solving skills, contributing to big-picture strategic plans regarding site usability, navigation, content management, and adoption of new technologies
- Experience in the mutual fund or related financial services industry, with a focus on email marketing and internet/web marketing
- Technical and/or online writing, journalism, marketing, or public relations experience a plus
