Digital Acquisition Specialist

Our Marketing team helps create digital experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and built around our members' needs. As our Digital Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in growing Southland's digital presence by creating and optimizing the online experiences that turn visitors into members.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize website pages and landing pages that support member acquisition, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and automated member journeys that deliver relevant, personalized experiences.
- Create and enhance marketing automation workflows that nurture leads, improve engagement, and support long-term member relationships.
- Monitor website, email, and campaign performance using analytics and tracking tools to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Partner with Marketing, Digital Banking, and data teams to launch integrated campaigns that align with business objectives and member needs.
- Ensure websites, forms, landing pages, emails, and automation workflows are tested, accurate, accessible, and optimized before deployment.
- Maintain the health and performance of marketing technology platforms, troubleshooting issues that impact the digital member experience.
- Leverage audience segmentation, behavioral insights, and campaign data to improve targeting, personalization, and conversion rates.
- Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends, marketing automation tools, UX best practices, and platform enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital performance through testing, optimization, and continuous innovation.
Knowledge And Skills
- Experience three to five years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or digital campaign management.
- Experience building and managing website content, landing pages, and forms using a content management system (Kentico preferred).
- Experience developing and optimizing email campaigns and automated workflows using ActiveCampaign or a similar marketing automation platform.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and campaign tracking tools to measure and improve digital performance.
- Experience in financial services, banking, credit unions, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Education bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy, lead generation, conversion optimization, and user experience (UX) principles.
- Proficiency with enterprise CMS platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, campaign tracking, UTM structures, and conversion measurement.
- Understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, accessibility, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for website and email content updates.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality digital experiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve marketing workflows while maintaining quality, brand standards, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager certification.
- Experience with Kentico CMS and ActiveCampaign.
