Digital Accessibility Specialist

What's the Job?

Identify and remediate digital accessibility issues across various digital content including websites, applications, PDFs, and online forms.

Test digital content for compliance with ADA Title II, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 AA standards using tools like WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, and Acrobat Pro.

Support staff by providing guidance and technical assistance on accessibility best practices.

Develop workflows, documentation, and training materials to promote long-term accessibility compliance.

Collaborate across technical and organizational teams to ensure accessibility standards are met and maintained.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience with ADA accessibility testing for websites, applications, PDFs, and documents.
• Proficiency with accessibility testing tools such as WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, and Acrobat Pro.
• Knowledge of ADA Title II, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently with urgency.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
