About the role

Registered Dietitian responsible for formulating and implementing optimal nutrition therapy, evaluating patient outcomes, and coordinating nutritional care with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Nutrition Care Process and implement personalized care plans.
• Counsel, educate, and communicate effectively with patients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate professional development, performance measurement, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition.
• 1–3 years of experience required for Dialysis.
• Registered dietitian certification.
• Licenses: Mississippi or Tennessee dietitian/nutritionist license and RD certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process, medical nutrition therapy, and nutrient analysis.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to function independently and counsel others.
• Proficiency in software such as word processing and spreadsheets.

No supervisory duties; physical activities include standing, walking, reaching, and light exertion; suited for individuals with good coordination and visual acuity.
