Dietitian Nutritionist II

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic and innovative team at SSM Health - St Mary's Hospital, a 440-bed acute care facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position works 32 hours per week with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow-up assessments for a variety of patient types working with the inpatient population.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (facility uses Epic).

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
• Registered Dietitian credentials with prior acute care experience.
• Licensed in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement:
  • Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials or state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
• Minimum functional experience: 3 years as an experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.
