Dietician (RD) - Hospital Services (Per Diem)

Job Summary

The Dietitian is responsible for the direct and indirect nutrition care of clients. Assists in the coordination of nutrition activities with the medical, nursing and dietary staff. This position is per diem to cover staff vacations/paid time off as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (through the Commission on Dietetic Registration) required.
• CT Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist License required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nutrition experience with behavioral health clients preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.
• Computer proficiency required.
