Dietetics Educator and Dietetic Internship Program Director

This position is a full-time, eleven-month, faculty appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities include on-campus undergraduate and graduate courses in Food and Nutrition.
  • Expertise to teach a variety of food and nutrition courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Serve as Program Director for ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship program and oversee supervised experiential learning.
  • Active involvement within the department.
  • Student advising.
  • DI program documentation and administration.
  • Scholarship and service to the profession expected.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, Dietetics, or Public Health.
  • RD credential with at least five years of professional experience.
  • Evidence of initiative, maturity, professionalism, attention to detail, excellent organizational ability, time management, and interpersonal skills, including high-quality oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated or potential excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
