Dietetic Technician
The Dietetic Technician at MultiCare plays a crucial role on the Nutrition Services team, ensuring that patients, families, and visitors receive the best possible nutritional care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care to patients and ensure care plans meet set dietary goals
- Offer outstanding customer service in alignment with organizational values
- Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and respond effectively to changing patient needs
- Promote a positive and engaging environment through enthusiasm and a food-centric approach
- Collaborate to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences
Requirements
- Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligibility within 120 days of hire
- Associate’s degree in dietetics or food and nutrition meeting ADA standards, or
- Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligibility within 120 days, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with Director/Clinical Nutrition Manager approval of transcripts
- Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred
