Dietary Supervisor - Long Term Care - Full Time

About the role

Join our not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of quality housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. As the Dietary Supervisor, you will manage the daily operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department, overseeing food service functions, including diet and menu planning, food dispensing, and supply distribution. You will ensure quality management and continuous improvement by applying industry indicators and monitoring key metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and departmental budgeting.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Implement process improvements and collaborate with information services for system changes.
• Participate in committees, staff meetings, and organizational initiatives.
• Maintain certifications, pursue ongoing education, and ensure staff compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
• Preferred advanced education and certifications such as CDM or registered dietitian.
• ServSafe certification within a year if needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
