Dietary Supervisor - Full Time Days

About the role

Join our not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. As the Dietary Supervisor, you will manage the daily operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department, including overseeing diet and menu planning, food dispensing, and supply distribution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service functions and ensure quality management standards are met.
• Assist with budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation, including hiring and training staff.
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations related to healthcare and nutrition.
• Collaborate on process improvements, participate in staff meetings, and support organizational initiatives.
• Ensure staff certifications are current and promote a positive, productive work environment.
• Provide flexible coverage, including stepping into aide or cook roles when needed.
• Maintain a focus on quality improvement, staff training, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in food services or a relevant area.
• Preferred certification: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or registered dietitian; ServSafe certification within a year if necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
