Dietary Staff - Full-Time

Supervisor: Food & Nutrition Director. FSLA Status: Full-Time.

Compensation

$17–$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full‑time position; availability to work nights and weekends is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, and work assignments.
• Numerical ability to prepare and measure cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Manual dexterity for preparing food items, handling serving trays, washing dishes, operating dietary equipment, and cleaning work areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in loading food carts and serving meals.
• Set up the dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Report procedures for supplies, equipment needs, food receiving, and storage.
• Attend in‑service educational programs.
• Follow defined safety and Infection Control codes while performing all duties.
