Dietary/Kitchen Associate

Pyramid Healthcare Martinsburg Inpatient specializes in Substance Use Disorder treatment and is located at 64 Boy Scout Road, Hedgesville, WV. The facility provides behavioral healthcare services including psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, and eating disorder treatment, offering supportive environments to help clients overcome life’s challenges. As a Kitchen Associate, you will support the dietary team in preparing and serving meals for clients on their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and serve meals while following food safety and portion standards
• Assist with basic cooking and food preparation
• Keep kitchen, dining, dish, and storage areas clean and organized
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Stock, rotate, receive, and store food and supplies
• Assist with cleaning, including sweeping and mopping
• Provide friendly, respectful service to clients
• Support the Cook and Dining Services team as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and facility guidelines

Requirements

• Previous food service, kitchen, culinary, or dietary experience preferred
• Restaurant, healthcare, school, cafeteria, or institutional food service experience is a plus
• ServSafe Certification preferred — training is available!
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
